Galvanising achieves the finest quality hot-dip galvanise zinc
protective coating to BS EN ISO 1461 (BS729) in our new "State
of the Art Technology" plant. Opened in 1996, this plant
processes steel products using a computer controlled fully automated
handling system which ensures accurate pre-treatment and regulated
dipping speeds. Rigid control of the chemical strength and performance
of the degrease, pickle and flux tanks ensures consistency and
quality in the final product.
Our highly trained staff and workforce
offer a fast, efficient service backed up by excellent technical
management expertise. Computerised weigh-bridge facilities
ensure quick turnaround of vehicles in and out of our holding
yard and we have a collection and delivery service if required.
Standard regular turnaround is 48 hours with a premier 24
hour service available for those rush jobs.
With
our large bath we have capacity for an extensive range of
products. A BSI registered company and members of the UK Galvanises
Association, we are approved galvanizers for major structural
steel fabrications, shipbuilders, oil platforms, railways,
agricultural work, fencing, highway products, lighting columns
and decorative forged artwork. Facilities are available for
shot blasting of components where coating thickness and finished
appearance need to satisfy special requirements.
